New Horizons is looking for caring, dependable people to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). In this role, you’ll work directly with individuals with disabilities, helping them build skills, participate in their communities, and become more independent in their everyday lives.

You don’t need previous experience to get started—we provide paid training and ongoing support. What matters most is that you’re dependable, patient, encouraging, and interested in helping others succeed.

What You’ll Do

• Support individuals as they work toward personal goals and greater independence
• Help develop everyday skills such as communication, organization, decision-making, and self-advocacy
• Participate in community activities, volunteering, social outings, and other activities
• Provide safe transportation to activities, programs, and employment when needed
• Assist with daily routines and personal care as appropriate
• Complete documentation and maintain accurate, timely records
• Build positive relationships while promoting dignity, choice, and respect

What You’ll Need

• Valid driver’s license
• Current auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks
• Willingness to provide personal care assistance when needed

Pay: $17.13 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
