Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The****Mary T. Family of Companies is now hiring Direct Support Professionals to work in our adult day program located in the Millersville, MD area. 

Direct Support Professionals serve individuals with disabilities in a day program and residential group home setting by assisting with personal cares (bathing, toileting, grooming, hygiene, etc.), transportation and support for community outings and activities, medication administration, housekeeping and cleaning duties, and meal preparation.

• $16.00-$16.50 Per Hour

Schedule:

• Full-time hours
• Daytime schedule, Monday - Friday from 9a-4p
• Thirty or more hours per week is considered full-time and benefit eligible

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a High School Diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• The ability to pass a criminal background and motor vehicle record check
• A willingness to work hard and a desire to help others
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills
