Direct Support Professional-DSP

Job Summary

Bella Home Care is hiring a dependable Direct Support Professional to work in both our Individualized Home Supports (IHS) program and our adult day program. Hours will be split between the two programs to create a full-time opportunity. We will discuss the schedule during the interview.We’re looking for someone who shows up ready to work, takes initiative, and enjoys being part of a team. At Bella, DSPs actively engage with the individuals we serve throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily routines, life skills, community participation, and goals identified in their support plans.
• Help lead engaging day program activities, including career exploration, meal preparation, and community outings.
• Encourage individuals to make choices, build independence, and participate at their own pace.
• Work with other staff to keep the day program organized, welcoming, and active.
• Follow individual support plans and safety procedures, and complete accurate documentation on time.
• Travel between IHS assignments and the day program as scheduled.

Requirements

• A reliable, hardworking team player who communicates well and takes initiative.
• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel between assignments.
• The ability to work respectfully with individuals, families, and coworkers.
• A commitment to punctuality, consistent attendance, and quality support.
• DSP or related experience is preferred.

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
