Direct Support Professional -Jefferson

Duties

• Assist members with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support in their homes.
• Assisting members with cleaning their homes and shopping.
• Assist members with goals.
• Operate standard passenger vehicles safely for members outings and appointments
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, members progress, and incident reports
• Uphold residents’ rights by respecting privacy, promoting independence, and encouraging participation in community activities

Requirements

• Certificated in CPR and First Aid is required. If applicant does not currently have we will assist.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is a plus
• Complete ongoing training as needed.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with members, families, and team members
• A compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to members safety and well-being

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
