Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities by providing direct care and support in various settings, including residential homes and community settings.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities in accordance with their individualized care plans and goals.

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks.

• Support individuals in accessing community resources and participating in recreational and social activities.

• Foster a safe and supportive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and self-determination.

• Document individual progress, incidents, and observations accurately and in a timely manner.

• Maintain professionalism and adhere to ethical standards and agency policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to demonstrate empathy, patience, and compassion.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
