Direct Support Professional (Part/Full-time)

Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. The role involves providing care and support to individuals with disabilities in a group home setting.

Duties

Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration

Must have valid drivers license and insurance to transport individuals.

Implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs

Provide emotional support and companionship

Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times

Foster independence and community integration for individuals with disabilities

Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other team members to ensure holistic care

Requirements

Experience in memory care, senior care, or working with people with disabilities is preferred

CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

Ability to assist individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Understanding of person-centered care approaches

Willingness to work in a group home environment
