Direct Support Professional (PRN)

*Overview* We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in a group home setting. *Duties* - Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals - Monitor and record vital signs - Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary - Drive individuals to appointments or outings - Support individuals with mobility assistance and transfers *Requirements* - Experience in direct support, long term care, or caregiving is preferred -Ability to work compassionately with individuals requiring assistance - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team - Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of those under your care

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
