Direct Support Professional, PRN

Marbridge is a long-term residential care facility for adults with intellectual disabilities, offering a full spectrum of services tailored to individual needs and abilities. We provide our residents with opportunities to learn, experience, and achieve a whole new life.

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals to help our residents live full, empowered lives. Our DSPs support residents with daily routines, personal care, and life skills training, while fostering independence and community engagement across our vibrant 200-acre campus.

Shifts Available :

• PRN, Overnight

Pay and Benefits:

• $16.00 a hour
• Free meals available for specific shifts

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Texas Driver's License and good driving record
• Must possess good communication skills and professional manner when relating to staff, residents, vendors, and families
• Must be organized; able to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
• One year experience working in a residential setting with individuals with mental or physical challenges, or other relevant life experiences strongly preferred

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support residents with daily routines including hygiene, grooming, and medication administration, promoting independence and dignity
• Provide hands-on training in life skills such as room maintenance, laundry, and schedule adherence
• Foster a positive, respectful environment by listening to residents’ concerns and encouraging healthy communication
• Document resident progress and assist in implementing individualized training plans
• Supervise and engage residents during on-campus activities and off-site outings, ensuring safety and inclusion
