Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Companion Support Staff

Pay: Up to $20.20/hour + $0.73/mile reimbursement

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Direct Support Professional to support a 25-year-old autistic adult in accessing community activities, developing independence, and engaging in experiences that match his interests and goals.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and making a positive impact through one-on-one support.

Position Overview

• Approximately 12 hours per week
• Flexible schedule
• Family preference for support provided over 4 days per week
• Community-based services throughout the local area
• Transportation required during support hours

• Hiking and nature walks
• Exploring local communities
• Going to the movies
• Shopping and browsing local stores
• Staying active and engaged outside the home

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, and person-centered support in community settings
• Facilitate participation in recreational, social, and community activities
• Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 years of related experience
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle
• Current vehicle registration and insurance
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass required background checks

• $0.73 per mile reimbursement while transporting during support activities
