Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage resident independence while preserving dignity and respect.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and daily engagement activities.
• Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with the Wellness Director and interdisciplinary care team.
• Follow infection control procedures and community policies.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience in Assisted Living, Home Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, or senior care is preferred but not required.
• Current Home Care Aide (HCA) registration preferred or willingness to obtain one.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
