Duties

• Assist clients with daily living skills like toileting, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
• Supporting individuals by following safety protocols and care plans.
• Operate standard passenger cars for client outings or job sites, ensuring safe transportation practices
• Implement behavior management strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with job skills and supervise individuals while they perform job duties
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, client progress, and any incidents in compliance with organizational policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
• Drivers License Required
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including safe patient lifting practices and the use of Hoyer or Sara lifts when necessary
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is highly valued
• Certification in CPR and First Aid required; additional training in medication administration is a plus
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform duties that require standing or walking for extended periods

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
