Directional Drill Operator/Locator

5150 Holdings Is a seeking Directional Drill Locators/Operators in Colorado Springs and
the Denver Area that are motivated individuals with a positive attitude, and strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and requirements:

REQUIRED - Candidate will supply proof of valid Class A CDL.
2-3 years of experience Directional locating/drilling, in both standard and high-risk areas to include live and operational utilities.
Essential Functions:

Responsible for assisting Drill Operator in locating drill head and drilling in accordance with blueprints. Verify locate marks and confirm location of existing facilities. Assist with clean-up and other duties as assigned. The Locater is responsible for maintaining equipment per manufacturer’s specifications and safety guidelines.

• Operates drilling equipment and various other construction equipment
• Experience drilling in both standard and high-risk areas, such as areas with live utilities
• Have knowledge of utility depths and placement
• Possess general knowledge of construction practices and be familiar with equipment
• Respect the importance of ensuring Company assets (vehicles, equipment, tools, etc.) are properly and continuously maintained in good repair and secured in a safe manner
• Organization of materials and other resources is necessary to complete excavation requirements, which may include basic hand tools
• Dig and back-fill trenches by hand and Deliver materials to job sites
• Locate Utilities; Tracking for driller; Handle and fuse pipe; Change drill bits and tools
• Assist in the routine maintenance and lubrication of rig equipment and trucks
• Assist in the inspection of all equipment

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
