Directional Driller

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Directional Driller to operate a Vermeer D20x22 Navigator. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, and capable of completing bores efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Required: Minimum 1–2 years of directional drilling experience operating HDD equipment.
• Experience operating a Vermeer D20x22 or similar directional drill preferred.
• Knowledge of underground utility construction and utility locating practices.
• Ability to read bore plans and job specifications.
• Valid driver's license (CDL is a plus).
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel for projects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Vermeer D20x22 directional drill.
• Complete bores for fiber optic, conduit, water, and utility installations.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Work closely with the locator and ground crew to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
