Director, AI Data Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Director, AI Data Operations to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This leader will shape the strategy and service offerings for AI data operations, with a focus on building scalable practices that support the full AI lifecycle. The role will partner closely with senior stakeholders to diagnose operational challenges, identify growth opportunities, and translate client needs into practical solutions. It is well suited for someone who can combine commercial insight, operational rigor, and leadership to help expand a specialized technology-enabled service line.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000+ annually

Responsibilities

• Build and define the AI data operations strategy and service portfolio
• Identify high-value opportunities across the AI lifecycle
• Develop scalable solutions and operational models
• Evaluate capability gaps and recommend strategic actions
• Establish performance indicators and operational standards
• Engage with senior stakeholders to diagnose operational challenges
• Lead client discovery sessions and commercial negotiations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of consulting and sales experience in AI or related fields
• Proven track record in building and scaling operational practices
• Strong understanding of AI/ML data operations and lifecycle
• Experience developing client relationships and commercial strategies
• Ability to translate complex client needs into actionable solutions
• Familiarity with data governance, quality assurance, and operational controls
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
