Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engagement Director – Clinical Analytics with 12+ years of experience in a clinical research or CRO environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in clinical analytics and biometric operations, along with demonstrated experience in client management, strategic planning, business development support, resource management, and leadership of large, cross-functional teams.

The candidate should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring operational excellence, quality, and timely delivery.

Required Skills and Experience

• 12+ years of experience in a clinical research, CRO, or related life sciences environment .
• Strong experience in clinical analytics and/or biometric operations .
• Ability to work independently, prioritize assigned tasks, and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills .
• Exceptional client management and relationship-building skills , with a demonstrated ability to identify opportunities and expand services.
• Proven ability to effectively interact with employees and management at all organizational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across functions and geographies and work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience managing complex and/or international clinical trials .
• Strong sense of accountability toward organizational and professional goals.
• Exposure to clinical trials across multiple therapeutic areas .
• Demonstrated experience managing and leading large teams of at least 15–20 professionals .
• Strong understanding of clinical research processes, operational requirements, and industry best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

Clinical and Operational Leadership

• Oversee and support day-to-day biometric operations , ensuring effective delivery across projects and client engagements.
• Provide project oversight and operational support to both internal and external project teams.
• Monitor project budgets and develop and implement effective resource and capacity-planning strategies .
• Collaborate with project teams to identify resource requirements and ensure timely allocation of appropriate resources.
• Lead and coordinate teams across multiple projects while ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.

Business Development and Client Management

• Partner with the Business Development team in proposal development, budget preparation, solution development, and client presentations.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and proactively identify opportunities for service expansion and account growth.
• Serve as a senior point of contact for clients, ensuring effective communication, issue resolution, and delivery against expectations.

People and Performance Management

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Programming, Data Science, Computer Science, or another relevant quantitative or life sciences discipline.
• A Master's or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics is highly preferred.
• Equivalent relevant education and extensive industry experience may be considered.
