Director, Customer Trust

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Customer Trust to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This leader will oversee the company’s customer trust strategy, shaping how security posture, governance, and operational discipline are communicated to the market. The role will partner closely with executive stakeholders, sales leaders, and security teams to build confidence with customers and external audiences. It will also drive the programs, reporting, and business operations that support a strong trust function without adding unnecessary headcount.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $204,000 – $326,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer trust program and ensure effective communication of security to the market
• Oversee governance and reporting, including policy, security measurement, and operating rhythm for key stakeholders
• Direct security business operations, including portfolio management and budget planning
• Cultivate a security culture through awareness initiatives and a champions program without increasing headcount

Qualifications

• Experience running a customer-facing trust or assurance program for a platform business
• Ability to translate security posture into business terms for sales and executive communication
• Strong program and portfolio management skills, with experience writing budgets and headcount cases
• Proven history presenting to executives, boards, and regulators
• Experience leading teams of 10 or more, including managers
