Director, Data Solutions

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Data Solutions to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will lead strategic data solutions efforts focused on institutional investors, with a strong emphasis on revenue growth, client partnerships, and market insight. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior investment professionals while shaping how the business delivers value through data and analytics. The position also requires close collaboration with product, data, and engineering teams to translate client needs into actionable direction and support long-term adoption and expansion.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own revenue generation from strategic opportunities with institutional investors
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior investment professionals and data strategists
• Lead and coach a sales and account support team
• Drive client adoption, retention, and expansion initiatives
• Translate market feedback into actionable product direction
• Build a predictable sales pipeline through disciplined strategies
• Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams to align on client needs

Qualifications

• 8+ years in alternative data or financial information services
• 5+ years selling data or analytics products to institutional investors
• 5+ years leading sales or client success teams
• Established network within hedge funds, asset managers, and private equity
• Proven track record in closing complex enterprise deals
• Strong product instincts to leverage client insights
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity with an entrepreneurial approach
