Director, Full- Stack Engineer, Shopping Tech (Remote- Eligible)

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Full- Stack Engineer, Shopping Tech (Remote- Eligible) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role will lead a full-stack engineering organization focused on building resilient, scalable technology solutions that support shopping-related digital experiences. The position will partner closely with product managers and technical stakeholders to shape application capabilities, strengthen engineering practices, and drive innovation across the stack. Success in this role will come from guiding teams, improving architecture and delivery, and ensuring reliable systems in a highly regulated financial services environment.

The role is remote.

Compensation: $244,700 – $279,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and expand software engineering teams
• Mentor and guide engineers on your team
• Collaborate with product managers to define application capabilities
• Continuously enhance software engineering practices
• Design and develop solutions across full-stack technologies
• Ensure the availability and resilience of technical solutions
• Advocate for innovation and adopt cutting-edge technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of people management experience
• 7+ years in software engineering and solution architecture
• 7+ years in enterprise architecture and design patterns
• 7+ years of cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• 7+ years of data architecture experience
