Director, Global Hearing Protection and Protective Communication R&D

For our client, we are seeking a Director Global Hearing Protection And Protective Communication R&D to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Business Services environment.

Location: Indianapolis, IN - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $250,253 – $305,864 annually

Responsibilities

• Set and execute the technical vision aligned with business objectives
• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team
• Direct execution of new product introduction programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation
• Own laboratory budgets and resource planning
• Ensure technical rigor and quality outcomes throughout development
• Guide development of proprietary solutions in partnership with legal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or Engineering
• Three years of product development leadership experience
• Three years of supervisory/management experience
• Background in Acoustics and Acoustical Measurement Techniques
• Expertise in global hearing protection regulatory standards and requirements
