Director, Global Tech Recruiting

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Global Tech Recruiting to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This leader will oversee a global technical recruiting function that supports growth across engineering and product organizations. The role will partner closely with senior business leaders to shape hiring strategy, improve delivery, and ensure a strong candidate experience. In addition, this person will use data, market intelligence, and workforce planning to help the organization meet ambitious talent goals.

Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $224,000 – $308,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a global recruiting team focused on delivering a top-tier candidate experience
• Serve as a primary talent advisor to senior executives in engineering and product divisions
• Develop global technical headcount models and manage hiring targets to optimize recruitment delivery
• Standardize technical assessment processes to enhance interview quality and candidate experience
• Analyze recruitment metrics and talent market insights to inform strategic decision-making

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in technical recruiting leadership roles within high-growth tech environments
• Proven ability to lead and scale global recruiting functions across diverse geographical locations
• Strong understanding of engineering and product development, with technical fluency to engage effectively with stakeholders
• Expertise in data-driven recruiting practices and capacity planning
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives
