Director, Market Development

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Market Development to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will drive market adoption for a new healthcare technology across North America, with a strong focus on launch execution, customer engagement, and procedural growth. The Director will partner closely with sales, marketing, and clinical teams to shape go-to-market success and strengthen customer advocacy. Success in this role will depend on translating market feedback into actionable strategy while supporting education and onboarding for key customers.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $141,340 – $194,337 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the adoption and implementation of the platform in North America
• Support execution of the North American launch strategy and improve customer engagement
• Develop and implement plans to accelerate product utilization and procedural growth
• Collect and communicate key market feedback for product strategy enhancements
• Identify and engage early adopter sites and key opinion leaders to drive clinical advocacy
• Conduct product demonstrations and hands-on training for customers
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless customer onboarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum 5 years in medical devices or related technologies, ideally in spine surgery
• Demonstrated success in sales, market development, or clinical support roles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in team environments
• Experience launching and driving adoption of new medical technologies preferred
