Director - Molecular Science Liaison

For our client, we are seeking a Director - Molecular Science Liaison to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This leader will oversee a national field-facing medical science liaison function, guiding team execution, training, and engagement across commercial and scientific stakeholders. The role sits at the intersection of science, customer interaction, and product support, with a focus on ensuring field insights help shape broader organizational decisions and improve patient care outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring deep molecular science expertise and the leadership presence needed to coach a specialized team in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $200,000 – $220,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Molecular Science Liaison team on a daily basis
• Develop and implement national staffing plans for the team
• Create and coordinate training plans to keep field staff updated on company technology
• Monitor field activities and client interactions
• Facilitate communication between the medical community and the organization to inform product development and patient care

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or M.D. in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular and cellular biology, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years of management experience
• Prior experience in a commercial atmosphere such as pharmaceuticals or a commercial lab is preferred
• Field experience working with customers or sales organizations is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential
