Director of Banquets

Roles and Responsibility

• Oversee all aspects of banquet operations, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth through weddings and corporate events.
• Lead and manage a team of event planners, coordinators, and support staff to ensure seamless execution of events.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to align on promotional activities and customer engagement.
• Analyze event feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize future events.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably in a leadership role within the hotel or restaurant industry.
• Strong understanding of the hospitality market, including current trends and competitor analysis.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with event management software and technology platforms is an asset.
