Director of Construction

Bring your leadership to a commercial construction portfolio built on momentum, safety, and strong internal support in Trinity, NC. In this Director Of Construction opportunity, you’ll lead day-to-day construction operations across multiple active projects, develop project managers, and help shape the future of the construction operations at a well established company.

Qualifications and responsibilities for this Director Of Construction position include:

• 10+ years of commercial construction management experience, including 3+ years directly leading and developing project managers and overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
• Lead daily construction operations across multiple commercial projects from preconstruction handoff through closeout.
• Manage schedules, budgets, documentation, client communication, and overall project results; address risks impacting delivery and profitability.
• Coordinate with superintendents, estimating, accounting, and support staff to align staffing, resources, and project priorities.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for construction issues, subcontractor performance, schedule conflicts, and client concerns.
• Establish consistent expectations for weekly reporting, RFIs, submittals, change order logs, and closeout documentation.
• Conduct project reviews and site visits to monitor quality, safety, progress, and team performance.
• Can work from the Trinity, NC office and travel to project sites as needed; strong proficiency with Bluebeam, Excel, and Raken.

Salary: $200,000 - $225,000 per year, depending on experience.
