We're part of The Secret World (TSW) and are expanding into 50 cities.

The role

Our members only create value when they're actively using the app. We're looking for a Director of Database to own our member base end to end: who our members are, how we acquire the right ones in each city, how we keep them engaged, and how we win back those who go quiet.

Reporting to the CEO and working closely with Marketing, Product and Operations, you'll build TSS a repeatable system for acquiring the right members and keeping them active over time.

What you'll own

• Member profiling and location-based targeting, so acquisition in each city reflects what our venue partners need
• Worldwide member acquisition, planned with Marketing and aligned to our city launch calendar
• Engagement and active app usage, including in-app initiatives built with Product
• A calendar of TSS member events and parties that drive engagement and loyalty
• Win-back campaigns for dormant and at-risk members
• The launch of the TSS Members Loyalty Programme
• Churn reduction and a connected retention engine
• Member conduct, suspensions and escalations
• A live Members dashboard and monthly reporting to the leadership team

What we're looking for

• Senior experience leading CRM, retention, lifecycle, loyalty or membership for an app or consumer platform
• A strong track record of growing active users and reducing churn
• Comfortable working with data, dashboards and funnel metrics
• Experience designing or running a loyalty or rewards programme
• A collaborative leader who works well across Marketing, Product and Operations
• Experience in multi-city or international markets is a plus
