Director of Electrical Engineering

Remote Director, Electrical Engineering required by an established, global data center owner & operator. This role would suit a Senior Electrical Engineer with data center design experience, looking to step up in to a senior level role. This position is remote with some travel as required.

Compensation: $200k - $250k + 25% bonus. Opportunity for equity long term.

Overview:

• Own and lead multiple building and campus level designs
• Be the point of contact for design partners
• Manage design timelines and schedule
• Construction Administration
• Project Feasibility and Diligence
• Partner Team Building – build relationships with Architectural and Engineering design consultants

Experience

• Data Center design experience (hyperscale preferable)
• Familiarity with other engineering functions (Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Structural etc)
• Hand on experience with drafting and spatial analysis software
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Several years of Data Center Design Experience
• Drafting and/or BIM capabilities in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Experience with an Engineering firm, data center owner or hyperscaler background
