Director of Embedded Payments

Overview

Merchant Focus is hiring an experienced payments professional to build the ISV and vertical SaaS partner channel for linq, our PayFac-as-a-Service platform. You will own that channel end to end: finding the right software platforms, getting in front of the people who decide how payments work inside their product, and signing partnerships that generate recurring revenue for both sides.

This is not an entry-level business development seat. We are looking for someone who already understands the embedded payments landscape, knows how long an ISV sales cycle really takes, and can sell a partnership rather than a transaction. This is a salary plus uncapped commission position.

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, and close ISV and vertical SaaS partnerships for embedded payments.
• Own the full sales cycle, from first outreach through signed partnership agreement.
• Work with our integration and technical teams to move signed partners through onboarding, without owning the engineering timeline yourself.
• Build and manage a pipeline of partnership opportunities across target verticals.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success selling ISV, platform, or vertical Saas partnerships.
• Working knowledge of payments, embedded payments and PayFac-as-a-Service models.
• The judgment to work independently in a remote, national role without day-to-day direction.
• Comfort with a compensation model built on long-term residual income instead of a monthly quota.
• Leadership qualities that inspire team development, cross-functional collaboration, and achievement of ambitious sales goals.

Pay: $120,000.00 per year
