Location Priority

This is a hybrid role based out of our Saugerties, NY office. Candidates must live within 100 miles of the office. Work is primarily remote, with in-person attendance required at least monthly and additional onsite days as needed for meetings, training, team events, and other business needs.

Job Summary

As the Director of Finance, you will play a key role in overseeing the company’s financial strategies, managing budgets, and optimizing cost efficiencies. Your expertise in cost accounting will be crucial in driving profitability and sustainable growth for the business. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior management to develop financial plans, analyze costs, and identify opportunities for improvement. Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the financial decision-making process and ensuring that the company remains financially sound and competitive in the market.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of iMedview’s finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable financial reporting.
• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, P&L reporting, and other management reports.
• Direct the annual budgeting process, financial forecasting, long-term financial planning, and budget-to-actual variance analysis.
• Oversee core accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll (in partnership with our PEO), reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor strong internal controls, financial policies, and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain the integrity of financial information.
• Partner with senior leadership and internal departments on business planning, budgeting, operational efficiency, and growth initiatives.
• Lead efforts to streamline financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes while identifying opportunities for increased accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the continued development of Finance policies, procedures, documentation, and the accounting manual as the department and organization evolve.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading accounting or finance teams (Controller/CFO level preferred)
• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA a plus, not required)
• CPA or CMA preferred
• Strong cost accounting experience, ideally in a service-based business
• Experience in a professional services or multi-state business
• Experience with multi-state payroll and tax, ideally alongside a PEO
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar cloud accounting platforms
• Expert in Excel and financial modeling
• Tech-savvy and eager to work with multiple systems
• A natural leader with a strong sense of integrity, humility, and initiative

Job Type: Full-time

Work Location: Hybrid (Saugerties, NY)

Pay: $140,000-$175,000/per year

Physical Requirements

Working Conditions

This hybrid role requires in-office attendance at least once a month, with additional onsite days as business needs require. We’ll provide advance notice whenever possible.
