Job title: Director / Senior Director – Software Engineering

Location: Bangalore/Mumbai / Pune

We are seeking a Director/Sr Director level executive to lead the account/portfolio delivery.

This person will hold the mentioned responsibilities:

A Craft Master is a role within the OneCraft team responsible for ensuring excellence in modern software design, development and quality practices with AI/Agentic excellence. Individuals in this role are hands-on experts who enforce software craftsmanship principles, ensuring that solutions are robust, maintainable and industrialized.

The role combines deep technical mastery with strong focus on quality, engineering discipline and mentoring, enabling teams to deliver high-quality software aligned with OneCraft standards.

Design and develop high-quality software solutions following clean code, clean architecture and engineering best practices.

· Apply advanced methodologies such as BDD, TDD, DDD and agile composable architectures.

· Lead implementation of DevSecOps practices including CI/CD, automated testing and monitoring.

· Conduct code reviews, design validations and quality assurance activities.

· Mentor and coach team members on technical excellence and craftsmanship principles.

· Contribute to peer programming, mob programming and collaborative delivery models.

· Support industrialization of solutions to ensure scalability, reproducibility and maintainability.

Our Ideal Candidate

He/She/They or the incumbent will have 18+ years of experience with minimum of 10+ years of experience leading IT related “ Cloud ” projects of various size/scope. A bachelor’s degree is required: This person is motivated to deliver high-quality work to drive customer satisfaction. They use their intellect, insight, and ability to build creative solutions with clients and colleagues while embracing a collaborative mindset. Key qualifications include:

Required Skills & Experience:

• Deep expertise in software engineering design, coding and architecture principles.
• Strong experience with modern development practices and tools (CI/CD, automation, cloud platforms).
• Demonstrated mastery of multiple technologies and engineering layers (frontend, backend, data, DevOps).
• Strong focus on quality, testability and maintainable codebases.
• Experience in mentoring and enabling teams through hands-on guidance and coaching.
• Ability to work in collaborative, agile environments with high delivery expectations.
