What they need

Who we are:

At Integrated Engineering, our mission is to unlock the thrill of driving for everyone, regardless of technical ability. From the daily commute to the open road, we believe every drive should be something to look forward to.

About the role:

We are looking for someone passionate about powering the world's most thrilling driving experience from the ground up. As Director of Supply Chain, you'll build a high-performing global sourcing organization capable of running low-volume, highly complex parts with premium fit and finish. Drive hardware gross margins and command a multi-facility network to get premium performance parts into our customers' hands faster than anyone else in the industry.

Responsibilities and Essential Duties:

  • Cultivate a high-performing culture rooted in accountability and our core values, using all elements of LMA.

  • Quickly get the right parts to customers in key global markets, providing a high level of on time delivery.

  • Stand behind product quality from the supplier through to the customer's doorstep.

  • Recover backorders quickly and drive down our average backorder duration.

  • Keep supplier, order, and inventory data clean so margin and quality reporting can be trusted.

  • Land every new SKU sourced, tooled, and in stock ahead of critical release dates.

  • Build a global sourcing muscle, locating partners who will run low volume on technically challenging parts with premium fit and finish.

  • Source across a diverse product mix, including but not limited to electronics, castings, heat exchangers, sheet metal assemblies, plastics and composites.

  • Clear supplier-side obstacles so engineering stays on development instead of sourcing problems.

  • Drive hardware gross margin on the cost side, continuously finding ways to improve margins while maintaining customer experience and value.

  • Influence design and tooling decisions across new and existing SKU's with Product Development to drive manufacturability and cost.

  • Improve inventory turns while holding enough stock to support aggressive growth,

  • Serve as the company's champion and lead trainer for Lean principles.

  • Own facilities and warehouse safety, including compliance, training, and incident prevention.

  • Create and maintain a safe, trusting, and inclusive work environment that adheres to best practices and promotes high morale.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Good attitude at all times and flexible and adaptable to change.

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field.

  • 7+ years leading international supply chain, sourcing, or procurement.

  • 5+ years supervising teams.

  • Direct experience managing Asia-based manufacturing partners.

  • Proven gross margin improvement in a global supply chain environment.

  • Proven track record of driving supplier quality and reducing defect rates.

  • Experience qualifying new suppliers from scratch, including high-mix, low-volume production.

  • Experience sourcing electromechanical or electronic assemblies, including component lifecycle and certification requirements.

  • Multi-site distribution and global fulfillment experience.

  • Working knowledge of customs, tariffs, and trade compliance.

  • Mastery of Kaizen, PDCA, 5S, and waste elimination, with a track record of teaching lean across departments.

  • Highly technical and self-sufficient with data. Builds queries and pulls insight in ERP and BI tools without waiting on anyone. NetSuite, Shopify, and BigQuery preferred.

  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.

Why Join Integrated Engineering:

  • Develop products that are installed on enthusiast vehicles around the world

  • Work directly with vehicles, prototypes, and testing equipment

  • Collaborate with a passionate team of engineers, technicians, and automotive enthusiasts

  • Medical, dental, vision, generous PTO, and 401(k) with company match

IE Values and Expected Behaviors:

Team members are expected to support the organization's vision and culture by following the employee handbook and exemplifying the company's core values:

  • Can-do Attitude:

We show grit and perseverance. We lean into every challenge and get it done.

  • Fearlessness:

We're bold and unafraid to fail. We take risks and revel in crushing competitors.
