Director Operation

Role : Operations Director

We are looking for an experienced Operations Director with 20+ years of experience in Operations, This is a senior leadership role for a strategic and execution-focused professional who can build efficient operations, manage large teams, improve customer experience, and scale EcomEx's network.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee end-to-end logistics and operational functions across the organization.
• Build and maintain strong operational processes across cities, hubs, warehouses, and delivery networks.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve speed, efficiency, and reliability.
• Drive reduction in RTO, NDR, delivery failures, shipment delays, damages, and operational costs.
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Technology, Finance, and Management teams.
• Manage relationships with courier partners, logistics partners, vendors, transportation providers, and operational service providers.
• Monitor courier-partner performance and negotiate improvements in service quality, capacity, and operational efficiency.
• Establish systems for real-time shipment monitoring, exception management, escalation handling, and performance tracking.
• Use operational data and analytics to identify trends and make informed decisions.
• Lead operational expansion into new cities, hubs, and markets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Be willing to travel extensively across operational locations.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 20+ years of experience in Operations.
• Proven experience in leading large-scale operations and operational teams.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end e-commerce logistics and shipment lifecycle.
• Experience managing pickup, transportation, sorting, last-mile delivery, RTO, NDR, and reverse logistics.
• Strong track record of improving delivery performance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Experience managing multiple locations, hubs, warehouses, or regional operations.
• Strong knowledge of SOP development, SLA management, process improvement, and quality control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working with CXOs, senior management, enterprise clients, and strategic partners.
• Strong understanding of MIS, dashboards, operational analytics, and performance reporting.
• Highly organized, process-oriented, and execution-focused.
• Willingness to travel extensively.
