Director Plant Engineering Projects

This role will provide strategic leadership across project planning, governance, budgeting and execution, ensuring capital is allocated effectively and projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sustaining capital projects across multiple mining sites.
• Oversee project scope, schedules, budgets, risks and delivery performance.
• Lead annual and quarterly capital budgeting and allocation.
• Manage project approval processes, business cases and capital expenditure requests.
• Establish project governance standards, KPIs and reporting processes.
• Oversee early-stage project scoping, feasibility studies and execution planning.
• Work closely with site operations, engineering, maintenance and finance teams.
• Ensure capital projects support asset reliability, operational performance and long-term business objectives.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering and/or project management, including sustaining capital project delivery.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects or a large capital project portfolio.
• Strong understanding of project governance, budgeting, cost control and risk management.
• Experience developing and managing capital expenditure requests and approval processes.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and executive reporting capabilities.
