Director - PMO - Aviation Construction

For our client, we are seeking a Director - PMO - Aviation Construction to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will drive complex programs from planning through execution with a focus on structure, accountability, and measurable delivery. You will work across business leaders, delivery teams, and strategic partners to align priorities, manage dependencies, and keep initiatives on track. The position offers the opportunity to bring clarity to complex work and deliver outcomes that matter across the organization within a Real Estate & Construction environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $230,000 – $250,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee PMO framework and governance for aviation and infrastructure programs
• Define and maintain standards for cost, schedule, risk, change, reporting, and documentation
• Lead program controls including cost, scheduling, and performance reporting
• Direct risk management practices including identification, quantification, and reporting
• Act as the primary PMO liaison to client executives and delivery partners
• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary PMO team while fostering a high-performance culture

Qualifications

• 12+ years in program management or PMO leadership for major capital programs
• Experience in aviation, transportation, or large infrastructure projects
• Expertise in governance and program controls, as well as risk/change management
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage senior stakeholders
• Exceptional communication skills, particularly in executive presentations
