The role is focused on helping Managing Directors operate more effectively by improving workflows, monitoring adoption of firm policies and technologies and ensuring a high, consistent standard of client service across practices. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Practice Management Support

  • Help assess the nature, urgency, and root cause of client-related challenges and coordinate with internal teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Identify recurring practice management issues and recommend process or policy improvements to prevent future friction.

Practice Management & Efficiency

  • Partner with Managing Directors to evaluate practice workflows and operational processes with a focus on efficiency, scalability and consistency.
  • Develop and implement practical tools and resources that simplify day-to-day practice management and client service delivery.
  • Help Managing Directors prioritize initiatives and manage competing demands within their practices.

Policy, Process & Technology Adoption

  • Support the rollout of firm policies, procedures, and new technologies by monitoring adoption and identifying gaps or obstacles within individual practices.
  • Act as a liaison between Managing Directors and internal teams (operations, compliance, technology, HR) to ensure clear communication and smooth implementation.
  • Provide targeted training and guidance related to client service standards, operational efficiency, technology usage and practice management expectations.
  • Track adoption metrics and provide feedback to leadership on effectiveness, compliance and opportunities for refinement.

Operational Execution & Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze existing practice-level processes and recommend enhancements to improve productivity, risk management, and the client experience.
  • Ensure Managing Directors and their teams are consistently applying firm policies, service models, and technology tools as intended.
  • Identify best practices across the firm and help standardize where appropriate while respecting individual practice needs.

Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Act as an extension of the Chief Development Officer in executing practice management and firm-wide operational initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships with Managing Directors based on trust, responsiveness and practical value.
  • Contribute to firm initiatives focused on improving client service, operational consistency, practice effectiveness and client retention.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in wealth management, financial services, consulting or professional services.
  • Demonstrated experience in practice management, operations, client service or internal consulting roles supporting senior professionals.
  • Strong understanding of client service models, operational workflows and practice management within a client-facing financial organization.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with senior leaders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities across practices.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Willing to travel up to 25%.
