Director, Program Management

Start your journey with BCD: Grow, connect, collaborate and celebrate with our global team Director, Program Management (Hybrid) Full time, Tokyo, Japan For this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of program managers or a major account. You will be accountable for achieving the company's goals related to client retention, quality service delivery, client and BCD Travel profitability, preferred vendor maximization, and technology implementation.

As a Director, Program Management, you will

• Provide oversight and direction of the team, including performance/activity updates with stakeholders
• Ensure multi-level, strategic client relationships are being established
• Support the development of clients and department budget
• Evaluate and analyze the department budget and provide improvement recommendations to department leadership
• Lead the account management team to develop strategic client business plans to achieve the client and BCD Travel's objectives
• Explore opportunities to expand client servicing relationships through (regional or global) expansion
• Lead or support the negotiation process for the development of Service Level Agreements
• Negotiate all client contract terms consistent with company approval processes and commercial policy in a timely manner
• Manage the performance of direct reports and downline employees

About You

• Extensive relevant management work experience
• Experience as an account manager in a corporate environment
• Business travel industry experience is preferred
• Computer literate in business software applications
• Excellent written and communication skills in English and Japanese
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically
