Director, Program Management

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Program Management to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space.

This role will drive the planning and execution of high-visibility, cross-functional programs tied to commerce and monetization. You will partner closely with executive leadership and global stakeholders to bring clarity, governance, and disciplined delivery to complex initiatives that shape business outcomes.

In this position, you will help align competing priorities across engineering, product, and business teams while improving portfolio visibility, decision-making, and risk management in a large, matrixed environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong program leadership, executive communication, and an analytical approach to turning ambiguity into actionable plans across mission-critical digital commerce and payment ecosystems.

Location: San Diego, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $218,700 – $328,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead high-visibility initiatives supporting commerce and monetization
• Define strategic objectives and roadmaps in partnership with executive leadership
• Align global teams with competing priorities and dependencies
• Establish governance frameworks for informed decision-making and risk management
• Drive delivery of digital commerce and payment transformation initiatives
• Oversee cross-team dependencies and executive communication
• Track outcomes and success metrics demonstrating business value

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading large-scale technology programs or product delivery organizations
• Expertise in managing complex cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, and business teams
• Proven success navigating large, matrixed, global environments
• Strong skills in executive communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to develop governance models and portfolio management processes
• Analytical problem-solver with the ability to translate ambiguity into actionable strategies
• Experience with mission-critical platforms and digital commerce ecosystems
