Director, Project Execution

Complex international HVAC projects demand more than strong project plans. They require disciplined commercial leadership, reliable cross-functional execution, and timely decisions across markets, contracts, and technical disciplines.

NOVENCO are looking for a Director of Project Execution to lead NOVENCO’s project portfolio across Denmark, Netherlands, UK, DACH, APAC and US. You will strengthen how we deliver safely, profitably, and consistently from order handover to final customer acceptance and satisfaction.

Your Impact

• Lead the Project Execution function across NOVENCO, ensuring safe, timely, profitable, and contractually compliant delivery.
• Set the functional direction, operating model, governance standards, and long-term capability roadmap for Project Execution.
• Own portfolio performance across revenue, gross margin, cash flow, working capital, forecasting, risk, quality, and customer commitments.
• Lead and develop Project Managers and project execution teams through clear priorities, effective decision rights, succession planning, and coaching.
• Align Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, installation, and commissioning around common delivery plans and commercial outcomes.
• Guide major customer escalations, contractual negotiations, claims, recovery actions, and commercial decisions within NOVENCO’s delegated authority framework.

What Drives Success

• Extensive leadership experience from international HVAC, mechanical contracting, EPC, construction, or industrial project delivery.
• Proven accountability for a complex project portfolio, including margin, cash, risk, forecasting, contracts, and customer escalations.
• Strong financial and organizational judgement that turns business strategy into clear priorities, governance, and executable plans.
• The ability to lead experienced professionals and Project managers across functions, cultures, countries, and competing commercial priorities.
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience; PMP, IPMA, PRINCE2, or comparable certification is an advantage.

Real Impact Example A major international project portfolio is facing changing customer requirements, capacity constraints, margin pressure, and several contractual interfaces. You enable your team to establish a fact-based portfolio review, clarify decision rights, strengthen change control, and align Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and project leadership around a shared recovery plan. Within short time the team improves forecast accuracy, and brings critical projects back within their approved delivery plans. Just as importantly, the new governance becomes a repeatable standard across all four countries.

Context You will lead a team of 8-10 people across NOVENCO and report directly to the CEO. The position combines strategic functional leadership with regular engagement in major projects and customer relationships.
