Director, Registrar Operations

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Registrar Operations to join the team of a leader in the Education, Government & Non-Profit space.

This leader will guide the day-to-day operations of the Registrar function with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and service delivery in a higher education environment. The role will partner closely with Associate Directors to strengthen team performance, improve operational consistency, and support a technology-driven academic enterprise. This position will also play a key part in building a high-performing team through coaching, hiring, onboarding, and training efforts.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and provide guidance to Associate Directors
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and training within the Registrar's Office
• Support and develop Associate Directors through coaching and performance management
• Oversee execution of core registrar functions, ensuring compliance and accuracy
• Generate and analyze performance reports to drive departmental improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
• 7+ years of higher education experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience required
• 3+ years of experience in a Registrar's office preferred
• Experience in a technology-driven enterprise is a plus
