Director of Shared Services – Procurement

We’re seeking an experienced Procurement leader to oversee enterprise-wide procurement strategy and operations for a large, complex healthcare organization.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for strategic sourcing, contracting, purchasing, supplier management, spend analytics, category management, and procurement operations across the organization.

What You’ll Lead

• Enterprise-wide procurement and strategic sourcing
• Complex vendor negotiations and contract management
• Category strategies across products, services, capital equipment, technology, software, and professional services
• Cost reduction, spend optimization, standardization, and supplier performance
• Procurement analytics, forecasting, KPIs, and executive reporting
• Supplier risk management and procurement governance
• Centralized procurement operations and team leadership
• Collaboration with executive leadership, finance, legal, supply chain, clinical teams, and hospital operations

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive procurement/supply chain experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years with a Master's degree
• 5+ years of leadership/management experience
• Strong background in strategic sourcing, procurement, contracting, and supplier negotiations
• Experience working within a large, complex, multi-site organization
• Proven track record delivering measurable cost savings and operational improvements
• Strong knowledge of category management, spend analytics, contract management, supplier performance, and procurement technology
• Experience with ERP/eProcurement systems; Infor Lawson preferred
• Strong executive communication, negotiation, financial, and analytical skills

Healthcare Experience Highly Preferred

Ideal candidates will bring experience within a multi-hospital health system and understand GPO contracting, purchased services, value analysis, healthcare procurement, and physician/clinical stakeholder engagement .
