Director Shared Services (EMIRATI)

We are hiring a 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 – 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 for a senior leadership opportunity in 𝐀𝐛𝐮 𝐃𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢 🇦🇪.

This role is ideal for an experienced corporate services leader who can bring multiple support functions together, improve operational effectiveness, and build a more connected and efficient internal service model.

𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

-Lead the overall shared services agenda, creating a coordinated operating model across core support functions and ensuring service delivery remains efficient and aligned with organisational priorities.

-Drive improvements in internal operations by simplifying processes, strengthening governance, and introducing clearer performance measures across corporate support activities.

-Provide strategic oversight across people, finance, procurement, facilities, administration, and technology support, ensuring these functions work together effectively.

-Own departmental planning, budgeting, and resource allocation while monitoring performance, identifying gaps, and taking corrective action where required.

-Lead major organisational change and service transformation initiatives, ensuring new structures, processes, and ways of working are embedded successfully.

-Develop leadership capability across the function, strengthen succession planning, and create a culture focused on accountability, service quality, and continuous improvement.

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬

-10+ years of experience in shared services, corporate services, business support, or a broad operational leadership environment.

-Strong leadership exposure across multiple enabling functions, ideally including a combination of HR, finance, procurement, facilities, administration, or IT support.

-Proven experience improving service delivery, driving operational efficiency, and leading cross-functional initiatives in a complex organisation.

-Strong capability in strategic planning, budgeting, performance management, governance, and organisational change.

-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related discipline.

-Strong stakeholder management, analytical thinking, decision making, and people leadership skills, with the ability to operate effectively at senior level.
