What they need

Company Overview:

A well-capitalized, global leader in ticketing and live entertainment is seeking a Director, Strategic Finance & FP&A to build its U.S. Finance function from the ground up. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility opportunity reporting directly to the U.S. CFO, with the opportunity to help architect the finance function as the business scales through significant organic growth and M&A.

The Opportunity

  • Build the U.S. FP&A function, including planning, forecasting, reporting, and cash-flow processes
  • Translate the company’s long-range strategic plan into actionable financial plans for the U.S. business
  • Build sophisticated financial models from scratch to support operating decisions and strategic initiatives
  • Partner directly with the CFO on M&A, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making
  • Develop the operating model, reporting infrastructure, and financial processes needed to support a rapidly growing business
  • Analyze commercial opportunities and deals, providing financial insights to senior leadership
  • Transform and query large sets of raw data into actionable, model-ready analysis

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in entertainment, media, technology, software, or another dynamic, data-driven industry
  • Broad FP&A experience spanning operating models, commercial analysis, strategic finance, and M&A
  • Strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to build models from scratch
  • Demonstrated ability to work with raw data, including querying, transforming, and structuring data for financial analysis
  • Resourceful, self-directed approach and comfort operating without established playbooks
  • Ability to thrive in an evolving systems and infrastructure environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with a CFO and senior business leaders

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Ground-floor opportunity to architect a U.S. FP&A function within a global leader in live entertainment
  • Direct CFO partnership with significant influence over processes, systems, reporting, and strategic finance
  • Meaningful M&A exposure in a company actively pursuing organic growth and acquisitions
  • Opportunity to build rather than inherit — with substantial ownership and visibility
  • Lean, entrepreneurial environment with minimal bureaucracy and significant room to make an impact

This is an opportunity for a strategic finance leader who enjoys building, modeling, and partnering with senior leadership and wants a meaningful role in shaping a rapidly growing U.S. business.
