Director, Technical Project Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Technical Project Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will guide complex technical programs with a strong focus on architectural design, delivery discipline, and infrastructure execution. You will lead technical project and program managers while aligning engineering efforts with business priorities and executive expectations. The position also requires close partnership with finance, procurement, and product development stakeholders to keep initiatives moving smoothly. Experience in federal environments and secure delivery pipelines will be essential to success.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $153,800 – $275,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural design and strategy for complex programs.
• Secure delivery pipelines to uphold system integrity standards.
• Deliver automated infrastructure for mission-critical federal environments.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams of technical project and program managers.
• Manage relationships among engineering, product development, finance, and executive stakeholders.
• Oversee technology initiatives to align delivery with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 10+ years in technical project management leadership.
• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and scaling technical program manager teams.
• Experience in architectural design and delivering automated infrastructure in federal settings.
• Hands-on expertise in securing delivery pipelines and managing complex tech initiatives.
• Strong relationship management across engineering, finance, procurement, and executive stakeholders.
• Experience aligning IT and infrastructure delivery with business strategies.
