Director, Technical Shared Services

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Technical Shared Services to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will shape and lead a centralized technical services organization, bringing together multiple operational functions under a clear strategy and governance model. The leader will focus on improving service delivery, accountability, and consistency across teams that support critical technical operations. This is a highly visible opportunity to partner with executive stakeholders and drive operational excellence through standardization, automation, and strong service management discipline.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $173,200 – $310,420 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a long-term vision for Technical Shared Services
• Align teams under a common strategy and service framework
• Foster a culture of accountability and operational excellence
• Lead diverse teams across technical service functions
• Establish service delivery standards and performance metrics
• Drive standardization across multiple operational areas
• Identify automation opportunities to enhance service delivery

Qualifications

• 15+ years in technical operations or support leadership
• 5+ years managing large, cross-functional teams
• Experience transforming enterprise shared services organizations
• Knowledge in Production Support, Site Reliability, DevOps, or Data Operations
• Strong skills in service management frameworks and governance processes
• Effective in executive communication and stakeholder management
