Disability Support Worker (Casual)

Complete Care Team is a highly respected company that was established in 1999. We specialise in supporting community based clients with disabilities and in particular clients with complex care needs, including people with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI) and spinal injuries. We focus on all aspects of our clients needs, providing a quality home based person-centred service which puts clients at the centre of the decision making and planning process to help identify and achieve their goals.

The ideal applicant will be a mature, caring, tolerant and dedicated carer. Have exceptional verbal, written communication and listening skills with a deep understanding of person-centred care. They will have a willingness to learn, be punctual, reliable and have strong problem solving abilities. In addition, they should be able to work both independently and within a team.

• We are looking for energetic, motivated, and engaging support workers for shifts in surrounding areas such as Ingleburn, Greenacre and Merrylands.

Duties may vary to suit the needs of the individual client. This may include however are not limited to:

• Domestic duties - housework, laundry and meal preparation
• Community access - transporting clients to shopping, doctor's appointments, gym and social activities.
• Personal Care assistance

Essential criteria:

• NDIS Worker Check
• Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
• First Aid Certificate
• Working rights in Australia
• Drivers Licence
• Reliable insured vehicle

Preferred :

• Industry experience will be highly regarded
• An understanding of person centred disability care and Acquired Brain Injury
