Our multidisciplinary team supports participants through psychological services, disability supports, capacity building, and community participation programs.

We are committed to empowering individuals through choice, inclusion, and meaningful support that enhances independence and quality of life.

(About the Role)

Psych Connect is seeking compassionate, reliable and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.

You will provide person-centred support to NDIS participants, helping them achieve their goals, build independence and participate meaningfully in their community.

The role involves supporting both children and adults aged approximately 5 to 60 years, including participants with high support needs, complex behaviours and high-intensity support requirements.

Support may include daily living activities, personal care, community access, appointments, social participation, skill development and implementing individualised support strategies.

  • Build respectful and professional relationships with participants, families and support teams.
  • Follow participant support plans, organisational policies, NDIS requirements and workplace procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and uphold participant dignity, choice and privacy.

  • Availability for flexible shifts, including weekends.
  • Strong communication, professionalism and documentation skills.
