About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to clients across Victoria. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of participants and support services, broadening your experience while making a genuine impact every day.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities
• Supporting clients with domestic duties and meal preparation
• Assisting with community access, appointments, social outings and recreational activities
• Encouraging independence and supporting clients to achieve their individual goals
• Completing accurate documentation and reporting
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and other support staff

What We're Looking For

• Epilepsy Seizure Management - Midazolam Training highly regarded

• Minimum 6 months experience as a Disability Support Worker in Australia

• Certificate 3 in Disability, Individual Support or another relevant qualification (or higher)

• Availability to work across a 24/7 rotating roster

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Employee Working with Children Check

• Current Medication Administration and Manual Handling Certificate with at least 12 months' practical experience

• Current Victorian driver's licence (Learner's permit will not be accepted)

• Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week.

• Current COVID-19 (2 doses and a booster) and Flu vaccinations
