Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support
• Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
• Support clients with medication administration following prescribed protocols
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary requirements
• Manage behavioral challenges with patience and effective behavior management techniques
• Drive clients to appointments, activities, or outings safely and responsibly
• Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members about client progress or concerns

Qualifications

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of best practices
• Certification or training level 2 health and social care preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for caregiving duties
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards clients of all ages
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation responsibilities
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: £13.45 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week
