The position As a Disability Support Worker at VMCH, you’ll provide high standards of care to our clients supporting activities of daily life while supporting individual choices and preferences. You will be providing personal care and support in group programs and 1-1 direct care for children and adults.

Casual shifts are available across mornings, afternoons, sleepovers, and camps.

What’s Required

• Certificate III Individual Support or Certificate IV Disability or similar - preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to converse and relate to people with understanding, patience and sensitivity
• Passion for working with children and adults with a disability
• Previous experience in Disability or Community sector - ideally
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong commitment to service and care
• NDIS Check, WWC and Current First Aid Certificate and CPR required
• Current Victorian Driver licence
• Flexibility to work early morning, afternoon, evening, sleepover shifts and attend camps when required.
