About the Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team. This role involves providing both one-on-one and group supports to NDIS participants with varying support needs, assisting them to develop skills, increase independence, and engage in meaningful community activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to participants in their homes and the community.
• Deliver both individual (1:1) and group-based supports.
• Assist participants with daily living activities and community access.
• Support participants to achieve their NDIS goals and increase independence.
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and incident reports as required.
• Promote participant choice, dignity, and inclusion at all times.
• Work collaboratively with families, carers, and allied health professionals.

Essential Requirements

• Previous experience working in disability support, including both individual and group supports.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Training and experience in:

  • Personal Care
  • Medication Administration
  • Mealtime Management

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or related field.

• Experience supporting participants with complex support needs.

• Knowledge of positive behaviour support practices.
