ARYSE is growing, and we’re looking for experienced, compassionate and reliable Female Disability Support Workers to join our Sydney team.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting Female Disability Support Workers across the Sydney region to support participants with a variety of needs.

Depending on the participant and shift, your responsibilities may include:

• Community access and social participation
• Personal care and daily living assistance
• In-home support
• Transport to appointments, activities and community outings
• Assistance with household and daily living tasks
• Supporting participants to develop independence and life skills
• Implementing individual support and behaviour support strategies
• Supporting participants to work towards their NDIS goals
• Completing accurate shift notes and required documentation
• Building positive, professional and respectful relationships with participants and their families

What We’re Looking For

We want Support Workers who are dependable, energetic and genuinely passionate about supporting people with disability.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous disability or community support experience
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check, where applicable
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working independently in the community
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries
• A reliable and flexible approach to rostered shifts
• Experience with personal care and participants with complex support needs is highly regarded
